“Back in the old days,” muses resilient troubadour Chris Smither, “writing new songs and making new albums were just chores. My priority was, and still is, performing live. I guess I still write the songs and make the records so that I can go out and play – except that now I actually look forward to it. I’ve learned how to do it, and I’m very eager to get stuff recorded once I’ve written it.”

If you’ve seen Chris in concert over the last few months you’ve probably gotten a taste of his upcoming record. He’s been playing all the new songs he wrote over the past year. Well, June 19, 2012 marks the release of Hundred Dollar Valentine (Signature Sounds) – and this, his twelfth studio record, will not disappoint. In fact, it is the first record that has all Smither originals. Back again working with his longtime producer, David “Goody” Goodrich, they’re joined by some veterans of the Boston rock/pop scene. The Hundred Dollar Valentine album package was designed by Chris-fave Meghan Dewar (with interior photos by Devin Dobbins-McCarthy).

Chelsea Berry is a singer/songwriter with incredible edge, power, and finesse. Her presence has been described by listeners as “compelling… she draws the entire house into her world like moths to a flame.” Born and raised in Alaska, she now makes her home on Boston’s North Shore.

Chelsea has begun to attract the attention of radio stations, magazines, and venues all over the Northeast.. her music, rooted in the genres of folk and rock, has recently taken a turn for alternative rock. The importance of the lyric is still emphasized, but her music (with the help of her truly fantastic band) now chugs along with grooves and beats reminiscent of tracks by Alanis Morrissette, Sheryl Crow, and Florence and the Machine.

All ticket sales are final. No refunds will be given on ticket purchases unless the show is cancelled.
We accept Visa, Mastercard & Discover.
Tickets are available for purchase by credit card 60 days prior to an event by phone and 30 days prior to an event online.
If you wish to order tickets for an event earlier than 60 days prior, you may do so at any time by paying with cash or check.

Tickets for most shows are also available at Bullmoose Music locations.
One Longfellow Square does not issue paper tickets for most events. The name on your order will automatically be entered on the Will Call List for that event. Check in at the door. If others in your party are arriving separately, please have them check in under the name on the ticket order.
All seats are General Admission.
Doors will generally open 1 hour before showtime. This may change based on the event.
A full bar will be available at all events unless otherwise noted.
